hi, i'm alice herston! currently, i'm building out fpga software and pcbs for the reactor protection systems in kairos power's reactor fleet. my career's purpose is to build things that bring joy and abundance.

previously:
  • graduated from u.c. berkeley eecs at 19 (& was your moffitt night shift security guard throughout😋)
  • built embedded software for autonomous tractors.

hondie is my '97 honda accord that i bought for $400 at the beginning of college. she still runs smooth, just needs a little TLC sometimes <3

a year after my first marathon, i tore my acl and meniscus rock climbing :,( i'm 5 months out from knee surgery now and learning how to run again!

some days it's laps at aquatic park, some days it's a post-run dip at crissy field, and fridays it's a 7am plunge with the salty dogs
